Canvas SpeedGrader Submissions Not Loading Correctly

    Canvas Support has informed us that the data fix has been fully implemented at this point. Our internal testing agrees that previously affected submissions appear to be displaying normally. If you find that any submissions are not loading as expected, please contact Harmonize Support: https://help.harmonizelearning.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    Instructure Support has let us know that they have released a hotfix for the bug in SpeedGrader. Our team has confirmed that their fix results in new submissions being viewable in SpeedGrader once more.

    However, their fix does not currently address previous submissions that are not loading correctly. Our team is continuing to coordinate with Instructure Support to make these submissions viewable once more. We expect full resolution sometime early next week.

Canvas Is Currently Unavailable For Several Users

    Access to Harmonize from Canvas was restored at 7am eastern as per our email to Canvas Administrators.

    Notice has been sent to Canvas administrators at Harmonize institutions that it is our intent to re-enable access to Harmonize from Canvas at 7am Eastern. Individual institutions may decide to disable access to Harmonize from Canvas before that time if they wish to wait for confirmation or analysis from Instructure with regard to their most recent security incident, or if they wish to conduct further internal review.

    No compromise of Harmonize systems or exposure of data took place. This unprecedented step of disabling access to Harmonize from Canvas was taken to to give institutions time to determine their level of confidence in Instructure's resolution of their security breach before re-establishing trust between Harmonize and Canvas.

    Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily disabled all launches and service calls from Canvas to Harmonize. We are reaching out to our contacts at Canvas to ensure that the secret credentials used for LTI have not be affected. Once Canvas is accessible again and we've confirmed that their credentials are safe, we'll restore access.
